SendPro Enterprise Release Notes for version 8.50.0 (March 31, 2022)
Products affected: SendPro® Enterprise

Note: Some changes affect all SendPro Enterprise users, while other changes affect licensed users only. If you are a subscriber, your SendPro Enterprise is hosted in the Pitney Bowes cloud with the address https://name.sendproenterprise.com, where "name" is your organization's unique value. If you are a licensed user, your SendPro Enterprise is not hosted in the Pitney Bowes cloud.

Headline Enhancements

The following headline enhancements have been implemented in SendPro Enterprise:

Administration App. Various Improvements.

Affects licensed SendPro Enterprise users only.

The following improvements have been implemented:

  • Removed Unused Apps from App Feed:
    • Mailroom
    • One Stop ERR
    • Ship
  • Added support for filtering in the Download App area in the Administration App:
    • The latest apps are now displayed first
    • A new dropdown has been added to allow filtering by App Name
    • A new dropdown has been added to allow filtering apps by Release Version

Data Management App. Updates to the Shipment Transactions Export.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

The following has been implemented in support:

  • Added the latest package history information:
    • History State Description
    • Date Occurred
    • Signed For By
    • Package History Description
    • Package History Location
    • Package History UserName
    • Package History Time Log
  • Updated the export to use the Package History Username if no username has been specified for the shipment.
  • Updated the export to use the shipment requisition username if the user no longer exists in the users table.

Personal Shipping App. Improvements to credit card handling.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Users are now required to add their credit card detail for shipping via the Personal Shipping App.

Note: As a result of these improvements, saved payment methods in the Personal Shipping app will be deleted upon application of 8.50. Users will be required to recreate their payment methods.

Carrier Changes

The following carrier changes have been implemented for SendPro Enterprise:

RR Donnelley. Updates to shipping label.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

The shipping label has been amended to display ePost as the carrier name on the label.

Other Changes

The following other changes have been implemented in SendPro Enterprise:

FedEx Server. FedEx Web Services.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Resolved issues with FedEx Shipment Tracking. Tracking FedEx Shipments now functions as expected.

Personal Shipping App. Fixed hyperlink issues.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Fixed issues with several hyperlinks within the App.

Email Settings. Fixed issue with emails failing to send.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Fixed an issue whereby emails would not send when the Email Password was encrypted.

MailCenter App. Resolved issue with Ship Before Time mapping.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

When rating a freight shipment, the Ship Before time is now correctly mapped.
