PitneyAnalytics Release Notes version 1.120.0 (January 28, 2026)

PitneyAnalytics Release Notes for version 1.120.0 (January 28, 2026).

Products affected: PitneyAnalytics®

What's New

USPS Added to Rate Increase Analyzer

The Rate Increase Analyzer now includes USPS, allowing customers to assess the impact of USPS rate changes on their shipping costs. Since USPS accounts for nearly 70% of shipping volume and introduces multiple rate increases annually, this enhancement provides broader cost visibility. Users can analyze overall cost impact, review service-level changes, and identify key cost drivers—delivering feature parity with existing UPS and FedEx analysis.

Latest Updates

Separated Extra Services and Surcharges in Rate Increase Analysis

Previously, Extra Services and Surcharges were grouped together under a single Surcharge category in the Rate Increase Analysis. With this update, Extra Services and Surcharges are displayed as separate categories, based on classifications received from upstream systems, across all supported carriers.

This enhancement applies to UPS, USPS, and FedEx. Cost impacts are now clearly categorized as Carrier Surcharge and Extra Services, with a new, dedicated chart added for Extra Services. In addition, the Overall Projection section has been updated to break costs into Carrier Services, Carrier Surcharge, and Extra Services, providing clearer visibility into rate changes.

New Accounting Fields Added to Carrier Invoice Adjustment Report

The Carrier Invoice Adjustment Report has been enhanced with additional accounting details to provide better visibility into transactions. Three new fields have been added: Cost Account Name, Cost Account Code, and User Name. The User Name will display either the user’s name for non‑SSO users or the user’s email for SSO users, based on the subscription setup.

These new columns are not selected by default in the report view, giving users control over whether to include them. However, when exporting the report, the new fields will be included in all export formats, including Excel, CSV, and PDF.
