Stopping the current job from running in PlanetPress

You can stop the current job from running if you need to run another job.

You can stop the current job from running if you need to run another job.

Rebooting the PlanetPress server will stop the current job from running. If you do not want to reboot, follow the instructions below for the version of PlanetPress you have installed.

PlanetPress 7

  1. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and select Task Manager.
  2. If detail view is not already enabled, select More details.
  3. Right-click on PlanetPress Watch Service and select End Task.
  4. Right-click on PlanetPress Suite Messenger and select End Task.
  5. Close Task Manager.
  6. Press Windows key + R to open the Run window.
  7. Type services.msc and select OK.
  8. Right-click on PlanetPress Watch 7 and select Start.
  9. Right-click on PlanetPress Suite Messenger 7 and select Start.

PlanetPress Connect

  1. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and select Task Manager.
  2. If detail view is not already enabled, select More details.
  3. Right-click on OL Connect Workflow Service and select End Task.
  4. Right-click on OL Connect Workflow Messenger and select End Task.
  5. Right-click on PlanetPress Connect Service and select End Task.
  6. Close Task Manager.
  7. Press Windows key + R to open the Run window.
  8. Type services.msc and select OK.
  9. Right-click on PlanetPress Workflow and select Start.
  10. Right-click on PlanetPress Connect Messenger and select Start.
  11. Right-click on PlanetPress Connect Serve and select Start.
