Scheduling exports of ERR Proof of Delivery files in PitneyShip, PitneyShip Pro, or PitneyShip Enterprise
You can schedule exports of ERR Proof of Delivery files to be automatically sent to an SFTP server so that you do not need to export them manually. Each export will contain a ZIP file with only the new files received since the last export.

You can schedule exports of ERR Proof of Delivery files to be automatically sent to an SFTP server so that you do not need to export them manually. Each export will contain a ZIP file with only the new files received since the last export.
Scheduling exports
- Go to Shipping & Mailing > Proof of Delivery (under History).
- Select Export > Schedule Automatic Export.
- Enter the Export Location including the file name and extension.
- Enter the SFTP Server URL, including the port in the URL if needed.
- Enter the Username and Password for the SFTP site.
- Select the Test Access button to test the connection.
- Select Notifications.
- Enter the email address(es) you want to be notified if the import fails.
- Select Schedule.
- Select the frequency (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly), then the time at which you wish the exports to occur.
- Select Save Configuration.
Job status
To view the status of the export job:
- Select Shipping & Mailing > Shipping & Postage History.
- Select the Scheduled Exports tab.
Viewing, editing, and deleting scheduled exports
To view, edit, or delete previously-scheduled exports:
- Go to Export > Schedule Automatic Export.
- Select the Scheduled Exports tab.
