Creating a template on ConnectRight Mailer Unify
ConnectRight Mailer Unify requires creation of templates to process your mail using a chosen type of processing.
Products affected: Relay™ Unify, ConnectRight® Mailer Unify
There are three options:
- ZIP+4 processing: Modifies (standardizes and corrects) addresses, appending fields necessary for presort mailings.
- Standardize changes Street to St, North to N, First to 1st, etc. and constructs street lines to USPS guidelines.
- Correction repairs street/unit names, suffixes, directionals, assigns ZIP Codes, adds unit info, applies LACS changes.
- NCOALink: Provides both ZIP+4 processing and matches up to 48 months of change-of-address data.
- Presort: Presorting is the process of organizing mail by its delivery destination (ZIP Code) before it reaches a postal facility. This helps the USPS save time, money, and resources. In return, they offer discounts to mailers based on factors like the number of pieces, service level, shape, weight, and where the mail is entered into the system. Using presort software can help reduce costs for larger mailings.
