Setting up a UPS account in PitneyShip

In order to ship with UPS in PitneyShip, you first need to activate your UPS account in PitneyShip.
With this UPS account, Pitney Bowes charges your credit card on file for each UPS label and forwards those payments on to UPS. You do not need to have your own UPS account. Credit card fees are shown below the label cost on the Create Shipping Label screen. Fees vary by location.
- Select Settings > Carriers.
- Select the Activate button next to UPS.
- Select I agree to UPS terms and conditions.
- Select Activate Now.
- Select Close. The account will be added with the Display Name of PB-UPS Rates.
Note: The account administrator will need to select a payment method for this account under Settings > Payment Methods.
If you wish, you can display the credit card fees on the Summary Receipt that can be printed with the label. To do so, go to Settings > Label Options > Use Summary Receipt and check Credit Card Fee.
