Improved Order Sync for accurate Ecommerce integration
We've enhanced the Order Sync process to ensure ecommerce orders are accurately imported into the system. This update enhances visibility into sync status and enables users to work with orders that have already been synced.
Once a store is connected, the sync status appears automatically, and the first five orders are retrieved immediately. During the initial sync, a "Syncing Orders" message is shown, only once, even if multiple stores are connected. If no new orders appear, users can refresh the page to load them.
After the first sync, the indicator disappears. If a sync fails, users will see a friendly message with options to retry or get help. A summary also indicates the number of orders that were successfully imported.
Automatic item weight and ship method sync from marketplaces
We've added a new feature that automatically pulls in the item's weight and requested shipping method from connected marketplaces directly into the Orders Grid. This enhancement helps improve shipping accuracy and streamlines packaging workflows, saving time and reducing manual entry.
Updated branding for FedEx and UPS Single Payer accounts
To make it easier to identify Single Payer carrier accounts, we've updated the branding for FedEx and UPS on the Carriers screen. These accounts now use the nickname PB Rates. On the Shipping screen, you'll see the format Carrier Display Name – PB Rates when selecting a carrier under the Packaging section. This change applies to both existing and new Single Payer accounts for FedEx and UPS.
New Two-Step process for adding notifications
We've introduced a new two-step process for creating notifications to ensure that all required information is entered before proceeding.
The first step requires users to fill in key details such as Notification Name, Status (Active/Inactive), Send Via (e.g., Email), Notification Type, Visibility settings, and the triggering Status. Only after completing these fields can users proceed to the next step.
The second step allows users to customize the notification's schedule and content. This includes selecting the default language (English), editing the email subject and message body, and using templates to simplify message creation, just like before.
This update also lays the groundwork for supporting multiple templates under the same condition in future releases.
Improved Address Book usability
We've updated the Address Book interface to make it more intuitive and user-friendly.
Key updates include:
- Custom fields now appear above address details, showing only the field name without the Custom Fields label, making them clearer and more relevant.
- The label Accessibility accommodations has been updated to Needs Accessibility Accommodations for Locker Use for better clarity.
- All instances of Private have been changed to Mark as private to indicate that users can choose to make a contact private.
- The phrase Notify all internal deliveries has been replaced with Send email notifications to describe the action triggered by the checkbox more accurately.
These enhancements make the Address Book easier to navigate and more aligned with user expectations.
