PitneyTrack Enterprise Release Notes for version 1.111.0 (August 20, 2025)

Products affected: PitneyTrack® Enterprise

What's New

Web browser: Carrier Service field configurable in Receiving Settings

The Carrier Service field is now available in the Input Field Options under Receiving settings, allowing users to control its visibility for both desktop and mobile workflows. Users can choose to display or hide the field, and also make it required before saving a package.

In the updated interface, the Carrier Service option is displayed below the Carrier field in the Receiving Settings for both the Web Browser and Mobile App. It is shown individually for actions such as Receive, Edit, Deliver, and Pouch forms. By default, the Display checkbox for Carrier Service is unchecked.

If the Carrier field is set to Display Off, the Carrier Service field will also be turned off and hidden. When the Carrier field is enabled, users can activate the Carrier Service field and choose whether to display it and/or make it mandatory. This gives users more flexibility in customizing their receiving workflows.

Web browser: Carrier services tab

Users can now view carrier service details for both default and custom carriers in the Carrier Services tab. For custom carriers, users can also add, edit, or delete carrier services as needed. Additionally, users can define delivery times based on each carrier service, helping to set accurate internal delivery expectations for packages.

Quick steps:

  1. Select Settings > Inbound Carrier.
  2. Add, edit, or delete carrier services as needed.

Web browser and mobile app: Carrier Service field available in Package workflows

The Carrier Service field is now visible on package workflow pages for both desktop and mobile apps. Users can manually select a value from the dropdown, or it will auto-populate if decoded through the barcode logic. This field appears just below the Carrier field on the Receive, Edit, Deliver, and Pouch workflow pages.

The available Carrier Service options depend on the selected carrier for the package. If no carrier is selected or if no services are configured for the chosen carrier, the dropdown will remain empty. When the Carrier Service field is marked as required, users must enter a value before saving the package—otherwise, validation messages will appear.

If a delivery duration is defined for the selected carrier service, it will be displayed directly below the Carrier Service field, helping users better understand expected delivery timelines.

Web browser: Enhanced Package Activity reporting with Carrier Service details

The Package Activity reporting page now includes detailed carrier service information to help users better track and analyze delivery performance. New columns have been added to display the selected Carrier ServiceTarget Delivery TimeActual Delivery TimePaused Duration, and Delayed Time for each package. These updates enable users to view the delivery time from the moment a package is entered into the system, as well as whether it met the expected delivery timeframe.

The Carrier Service column displays the name of the selected service and remains blank if no service is chosen. Target Delivery reflects the internal delivery time set during carrier service setup, while Actual Delivery shows the time it takes for the package to reach a delivered status. Paused Duration tracks any time the package was in a status that pauses the delivery SLA, and Delayed Time highlights any extra time taken beyond the target delivery.

Users can view these details in the Delivery Details section of each package, including Target/Delivery Duration and Paused time. A new filter option, Delayed Packages, enables users to identify packages that missed their expected delivery window quickly. These columns can be shown or hidden, saved with custom views, and exported in minutes format for easier filtering and analysis.

Additionally, any changes to the carrier service field will be logged in the Other Changes section of the package history for audit purposes.

Web browser: Option to pause Delivery Time Tracking in Package Statuses

Desktop users with permission to manage Package Statuses can now define which statuses will pause delivery time tracking for a package. In the Package Statuses section of Receiving Settings, a new checkbox labeled Pause the internal delivery time tracking appears when adding or editing a status. When enabled, this setting pauses the delivery timer whenever a package reaches that status.

Note that the checkbox is disabled for the Received and Delivered statuses, as these cannot be used to pause the SLA (Service Level Agreement) clock. This feature provides users with more control over how delivery time is tracked based on package status updates.

Web browser and mobile app: New label fields available in Receiving Settings

Desktop users can now choose to include Carrier Service and Deliver By fields on package labels through the updated Label Options in Receiving Settings. These fields can be printed on labels generated from both desktop printers (web) and mobile printers (Bluetooth).

The Carrier Service field will show the selected carrier service for the package. In contrast, the Deliver By field displays the expected delivery date and time, calculated from when the package was added to the system, based on its set delivery duration. Once these options are enabled in Label Settings, the corresponding information will automatically appear on printed labels for each package.

Latest Updates

Mobile app: Session Carrier option added to Quick Receive workflow

Desktop users with access to the Input Field Options page can now manage a new setting called Continue with session carrier within the Quick Receive (Mobile Only) section. This checkbox allows users to maintain the selected carrier for the session, even if the carrier decoded from a scanned barcode doesn’t match.

When enabled, a prompt will appear in the mobile app’s Quick Receive screen if there’s a mismatch between the decoded carrier and the session carrier. The user can then choose to proceed with the session carrier and optionally continue using it for additional packages in the same session. This feature helps streamline workflows and reduce interruptions during mobile receiving.
