PitneyShip Enterprise Release Notes version 1.112.0 (September 3, 2025)
Products affected: PitneyShip® Enterprise
What's New
Downloading Postage Refill Receipts made easy
You can now download your Postage Refill Receipts (invoices) directly from the Postage tab on the History page. To get there, click Shipping and Mailing > History > Postage.
In this tab, you’ll see a new Action column. It includes an Invoice icon next to each successful postage refill. Click the icon to download the receipt as a PDF file. Please note that invoices are only available for successful funding transactions and are provided in PDF format only.
Estimated duties and taxes for international shipments
We’ve added a new feature that shows estimated duties and taxes for customs items during international shipping. When you enter customs details, the system will automatically display the estimated charges on-screen.
To get these estimates, make sure to fill in the following required fields:
- Sender and Receiver Country Codes
- HS (Harmonized System) Code
- Item ID (such as a SKU or any unique identifier)
Once these details are entered, the system calculates and shows the estimated duties and taxes for your shipment items.
New USPS QR code option for shipping without a printer
We’ve introduced a new feature that allows users to generate a QR code when shipping domestically with USPS. If you choose the QR code option, the system will email you the code instead of generating a shipping label. While no label is created at that moment, the postage amount will still be deducted.
If you don’t have access to a printer, you can take the QR code to a USPS location for printing. A representative can scan it and print your label, or you can use a self-service kiosk to print it yourself.
Latest Updates
FedEx Electronic Trade Document (ETD): Automatic document handling for international shipments
FedEx’s Electronic Trade Document (ETD) service has been updated to simplify international shipping. Users can no longer manually upload trade documents. Instead, the system will automatically send carrier-generated documents, including the Certificate of Origin (COO) and Commercial Invoice. A message will appear confirming this: “Since you selected the Electronic Trade Document (ETD) service, we will automatically transmit the carrier-generated Certificate of Origin (COO) and Commercial Invoice.”
Please note that the system-generated COO will not be available for download when using the ETD service.
Improved Save Preset workflow
We’ve updated the Save Preset feature on the Create Shipping Label page to make it more seamless. Now, when you choose to save a preset while creating a shipment, you can continue processing the shipment without interruption. Previously, saving a preset would refresh the page, requiring you to either reselect the saved preset or manually re-enter the shipment details.
Enhanced SSO User mapping: Simplified Admin access setup
You can now assign admin access levels during SSO user imports using two new fields: AccessLevel and AccessLevelValue. AccessLevel defines the type of access (e.g., Location or Enterprise). AccessLevelValue specifies the related divisions or locations.
This simplifies permission setup by allowing all roles to be defined in one CSV file. The system supports both bulk and per-user access assignment, with built-in checks to ensure the validity of entries. Available for SSO-enabled US Commercial enterprises.
Recipient Import now includes mapping warnings
We’ve improved the Recipient Import process by adding alerts for mapping issues. If optional fields, such as Building, Site, or Floor, are missing or mismatched, the system will now flag them for correction.
