PitneyTrack Enterprise Release Notes for version 1.113.0 (September 17, 2025)

Products affected: PitneyTrack® Enterprise

What's New

Web browser and mobile app: PO Number field now available

A new PO Number field is now available, improving tracking and customization across desktop and mobile experiences.

Users with access to Input Field Options can enable or require the PO Number field on the Receive, Edit, Deliver, and Pouch forms. By default, the field is hidden and not required. When enabled, it appears below the Comments field and retains values during edits. Required fields will show a REQUIRED tag and validation messages if left blank.

For PitneyTrack Enterprise users managing multiple sites, PO Number settings can be applied across selected locations. The field is also available in Label Settings for desktop and mobile printers. When enabled, it appears below the Comments field on printed labels. If no PO Number is entered, the label will show a blank space.

On the Package Activity page, PO Number is available as an optional column and can be included in custom views and exported reports, whether visible or not. Users can also search by PO Number using Begins With, Contains, or Ends With logic, with the search mode remembered per user.

On the mobile app, the PO Number can be shown in package lists via a new checkbox in the bottom sheet menu. Its visibility is remembered per list and per device. Mobile users can also search packages by PO Number across all list pages.

Finally, users with access to Manage Notifications can include the PO Number in Receiving Notification email templates using the Insert Variable Data field. If a PO Number exists, it will appear in the email; otherwise, the field remains blank.

Latest Updates

Web browser and mobile app: Updated workflow for editing Pouched packages

We have improved the editing process for pouch packages for both web browsers and mobile devices. When a pouched package is scanned on the Receive page, users will now see the Pouch ID and a single pop-up with two options:

  • Yes, Remove from Pouch – removes the package from the pouch and opens it in edit mode.
  • No, Keep in Pouch – keeps the package in the pouch and still opens it in edit mode.

Web browser and mobile app: Easy Transfer of Pouched Packages

Users can now move a pouched package from one pouch to another in a single step. When scanning a pouched package within a different pouch’s package list, a pop-up appears with two options:

  • Yes, Add in New Pouch – removes the package from its current pouch, adds it to the new one, and logs both removal and addition events with timestamps.
  • No, Keep in Existing Pouch – cancels the action and keeps the package in its original pouch.

A success message confirms the transfer, showing the package ID, pouch ID, and time. If the package is removed but not saved in the new pouch, it remains unassigned.

Mobile app: Email options for new pouches

Mobile app users can now choose how email notifications are sent when adding a new pouch. After scanning or generating a pouch ID, a checkbox appears: Send one email for all packages of pouch recipient.

If checked (default), a single email is sent with the pouch ID and all package tracking numbers. If unchecked, individual emails are sent for each package. This option is only available when adding a new pouch and if the admin setting for consolidated emails is enabled on desktop.

The app remembers your selection for future use, making communication more flexible and efficient.

Mobile app: Consolidated email for multiple packages

Mobile app users can now choose to send a single email notification when receiving multiple packages for the same recipient. A checkbox labeled Send one email for all packages of pouch recipient appears during multi-package receiving after selecting Scan More, but only if the admin setting for consolidated emails is enabled through a web browser.

By default, the checkbox is checked, meaning one email will be sent with all package details. If unchecked, separate emails will be sent for each package.

Mobile app: Improved Multi-Carrier barcode handling

Mobile app users will now always see a pop-up when scanning a multi-carrier barcode, even if one or more tracking numbers and carrier combinations already exist in the system. This ensures users can clearly choose the correct combination.

If an unsaved combination is selected, the app will populate the relevant details on the Receive, Edit, or Deliver page. If a saved combination is chosen, the user will be taken directly to the Edit screen.

When both tracking numbers from the barcode are already saved, the modal displays them as radio button options, along with their received timestamps, allowing users to select the correct one easily.

Updated Delivery settings and Manifest behavior

The Delivery settings page has been updated for clarity and improved control. The label Deliver Using Manifest is now renamed to Deliver using manifest on mobile device. For new users, default settings are set to never show the Select All checkbox and never confirm package delivery.

The updated settings offer more precise control over how the Select All checkbox and delivery confirmation behave on the mobile manifest screen:

  • If set to never show, the checkbox is hidden in all cases.
  • If set to always show, it appears every time.
  • If set to show only when search is used, it appears only after a search is performed.
