Cancelling a shipping label in ShipAccel

You can mark unused shipping labels as cancelled in the system, even if the carrier’s void period has expired or the carrier does not support voiding. This can help keep your shipment records accurate and remove cancelled shipments from active lists. This feature is available for DHL Express, USPS, UPS, and FedEx.

You can mark unused shipping labels as cancelled in the system, even if the carrier’s void period has expired or the carrier does not support voiding. This can help keep your shipment records accurate and remove cancelled shipments from active lists. This feature is available for DHL Express, USPS, UPS, and FedEx.

When to use this option

  • The label was created but not used, and the carrier’s void period has passed.
  • You need to mark a shipment as cancelled but the carrier does not allow voiding.
  • You want to remove a shipment from active lists after the carrier’s allowed void window has passed.

When you cancel a label

  • If the carrier’s void period is still open, the label is marked Voided.
  • If the void period has expired or the carrier does not support voiding, the label is marked Cancelled by User.
  • The shipment will no longer appear in your active or shipped list.

How to cancel a label

  1. Select Shipping > Shipping & Postage History.
  2. Select the arrow next to the desired shipment, then select Cancel Label.
  3. Read the conditions and click Continue to confirm.
