Managing your payment methods in PitneyShip Pro or PitneyShip Enterprise

You can manage the payment methods used to pay for your USPS postage and FedEx and UPS PB Rates labels.
Note: Purchase Power and Reserve Accounts can only be used for postage payments.
Only users with an Admin role can perform this procedure.- Adding a credit card

Adding a credit card
- Sign in to PitneyShip Pro or PitneyShip Enterprise.
- Select Settings > Payment Methods.
- Select Add Credit Card.
- Enter the credit card information and click Submit.
Updating an existing credit card
- Sign in to PitneyShip Pro or PitneyShip Enterprise.
- Select Settings > Payment Methods.
- Expand the credit card you wish to update.
- Select Update Credit Card Info.
- Update the information as needed and click Submit.
Deleting a credit card
The primary payment method cannot be deleted. To delete a payment method, first set a different one to primary.
- Sign in to PitneyShip Pro or PitneyShip Enterprise.
- Select Settings > Payment Methods.
- Expand the account you wish to remove.
- Select Remove.
- Select Delete to confirm.
Choosing the primary and backup payment methods for USPS postage
- Sign in to PitneyShip Pro or PitneyShip Enterprise.
- Select Settings > Payment Methods.
- Select the Usage Preferences tab or the Manage Usage Preferences link.
- Under USPS Postage Account Balance:
- From the first menu, select the payment method you wish to use as the primary method.
- From the second menu, select the payment method you wish to use as the backup method.
- Select Save.
Choosing the payment method for FedEx labels (Pitney Bowes FedEx Rate Accounts only)
If you have a Pitney Bowes FedEx Rate Account, you can select a payment method for labels created with that account. Note: FedEx labels that are created with a non-Pitney Bowes FedEx Rate Account will be billed to you by the carrier as usual.
- Sign in to PitneyShip Pro or PitneyShip Enterprise.
- Select Settings > Payment Methods.
- Select the Usage Preferences tab or the Manage Usage Preferences link.
- From the FedEx Account Labels menu, select the payment method you wish to use for FedEx labels that are created with your Pitney Bowes FedEx Rate Account.
- Select Save.
Choosing the payment method for UPS labels (Pitney Bowes UPS Rate Accounts only)
If you have a Pitney Bowes UPS Rate Account, you can select a payment method for labels created with that account. Note: UPS labels that are created with a non-Pitney Bowes UPS Rate Account will be billed to you by the carrier as usual.
- Sign in to PitneyShip Pro or PitneyShip Enterprise.
- Select Settings > Payment Methods.
- Select the Usage Preferences tab or the Manage Usage Preferences link.
- From the UPS Account Labels menu, select the payment method you wish to use for UPS labels that are created with your Pitney Bowes UPS Rate Account.
- Select Save.
Downloading credit card receipts
You can download credit card transaction receipts for USPS postage refills and UPS and FedEx payments (Pitney Bowes Rate Accounts only).
- Sign in to PitneyShip Pro or PitneyShip Enterprise.
- Select Settings > Payment Methods.
- Go to the History tab.
- Select the Receipts link next to the receipt you wish to download.
- Follow your browser's prompts to save and open the file.
