ParcelPoint Smart Lockers Release Notes version 1.118.0 (December 12, 2025)
Products affected: ParcelPoint™ Smart Lockers
What's New
Manage Locker doors
We’ve introduced a new feature that lets staff manage locker compartment doors directly from the Manage Locker screen. Doors can be opened individually or in bulk based on conditions such as status, expiration, verified empty, or confirmed occupied.
New toggle for package deposit lookup options
We’ve added a configuration toggle that lets you control how package deposit lookups are performed. If you turn off Individual Email Lookup, the system will only show Department Lookup options. This gives you flexibility to choose the lookup method that best fits your workflow.
Latest Updates
Compartment size display for better Locker drop-off accuracy
We’ve improved the Locker experience by showing the sizes of compartments already assigned to a recipient when scanning a new package for drop-off. Previously, users could see which compartments were reserved but not their sizes, making it hard to know if the new package would fit. This often led to inefficiencies, incorrect placements, or unnecessary use of extra compartments.
In high-volume environments where multiple parcels go to the same recipient, knowing compartment sizes helps operators match package dimensions to available space. This update optimizes locker usage, reduces costly errors, and improves first-time delivery success rates.
Enable Deliver packages for external Recipients
Users can now select External under the Carrier Direct Drop-Off options. This allows users to drop off packages intended for external recipients. This enhancement expands service capabilities beyond internal deliveries, giving individuals a direct option for external drop-offs
Display Locker name on Kiosk screen
This feature allows clients to display the Locker Bank Name on the Tablet, and provides flexibility to update or change the Locker Bank Name as needed.
Instant Device status with manual sync
Previously, when setting up a new tablet or backpack, it could take 10–15 minutes for the system to send a sync signal and confirm the device was online. With this enhancement, users can now manually trigger a sync, providing immediate visibility into the device’s status and eliminating unnecessary delays.
