DeviceHub Release Notes version 1.11.38.6 (January 7, 2026)
Products affected: DeviceHub
What's New
Retain Printer Defaults across workstations
We’ve resolved an issue where printer defaults were lost when users logged in from different workstations. Previously, DeviceHub was tied to a specific workstation, requiring users to reset defaults each time. Now, printer settings are retained across workstations using a secure web socket connection.
A new Hide DeviceHubs connected to other workstations checkbox has been added in the 360 Admin Console to enable or disable this feature. By default, it’s unchecked so existing workflows remain unchanged. Users who want this functionality can request activation through Pitney Bowes Support. Once enabled, users will only see their own DeviceHub on the My Devices screen.
DeviceHub Logs accessible in app
DeviceHub logs are now available directly in the DeviceHub desktop app, eliminating the need to check the C: directory during support calls. Users can view the last 24 hours of logs, copy them using Copy Logs, or open the logs folder via Open Logs Folder. Only key operations like start, cloud connection, version updates, and scale/print requests will be shown for clarity.
Latest Updates
Simplified PitneyShip Cube onboarding
We’ve streamlined PitneyShip Cube onboarding for easier setup. Users now see OS-specific YouTube guides, clearer steps for installing DeviceHub and connecting via USB or Wi-Fi, and improved messages for troubleshooting. Location confirmation and test print steps have updated text, and firmware updates are guided with direct help links. These changes make onboarding faster and more user-friendly.
