Processing bulk shipments using SendSuite Live Desktop project

Learn how to process bulk shipments using a SendSuite Live Desktop project.
Products affected: SendSuite® Live
  1. Select the SendSuite Live Project Login link and sign in to SendSuite® Live.
  2. Select the Desktop project.
  3. Once the desktop project is loaded, select Address Book in the upper right.
  4. Create the Address List for the bulk shipment. For more information, see Creating an Address List in SendSuite Live or Importing an Address List into SendSuite Live .
  5. Close the Address Book.
  6. On the main Desktop page, in the bottom right select Method to expand the window.
  7. Change the processing method from Single Recipient to Bulk List.
  8. Select the Address List from the menu.
  9. If desired, select Group the bulk list contacts in one request.
  10. Select Next.
  11. Enter the weight and dimensions for the shipment.
  12. Select Next.
  13. Fill out the Billing and Services section as required.
Tip: It is helpful to include a note of how many labels are required.
  1. Select Next.
  2. Choose how you will process the mail:
    • Print my Ship Request Form at my desktop and allow the mailroom to process my mail piece: This option allows the mailroom to load the ship request, choose the carrier/rate and process a bulk shipment.
    • Choose my Rate, print my Ship Request From at my desktop and allow the mailroom to process my mail piece: This option allows you to set the rate, but requires the mailroom to process the shipment from the Ship Request. 
    • Choose my Rate, process my Shipment now and print my labels and documents at my desktop: This option requires a label printer at the desk or document labels to be configured.
