Removing funds from the mailstation series
Removing funds from the mailstation series
Products affected: mailstation™, mailstation2™
As part of the meter return process, you must remove funds from your meter.
To remove funds from your meter:
Ensure that your system is connected to the Pitney Bowes Data Center and then Press
Funds
. Your meter will display your funds balance.
Press
Menu
.
Press
Review (Up)
until the display says
Change Setup?
and then Press
Enter / Yes
.
Press
Review (Up)
until the display says
Remove funds from meter?
and then Press
Enter/Yes
.
Your meter will connect and show the amount of funds transferred from the meter back to
the original funding source
.
Press
Clear/Back
. Your meter will display that it has been taken out of service.
To confirm that your funds were successfully transferred:
Press
Menu
.
Press
Review (Down)
until the display says
Select a Report?
and then Press
Enter / Yes
.
Press
Review (Down)
until the display says
Print Funds Report?
and then Press
Enter / Yes
.
Insert an envelope or tape sheet to print the report. Your available funds should be $000.00.
