Checking account balances and available funds

Sign in to Your Account to check if you have any outstanding balances and how much is available in your accounts to fund postage or other purchases.

Use Your Account to view balances you owe and available funds for postage and purchases.

Check your outstanding balance

  1. Sign in to Your Account to go to your account balance summary.
  2. If prompted, select Your Account.
  3. On the All Bills page, review the balances displayed for your:
    • Billing accounts
    • Credit lines
    • Leases and rentals
    • Supplies and service invoices

 

Tip: Hover over the information icon next to a balance for additional details.

Note: If you have multiple billing accounts or credit lines, the amount shown is the total balance for all accounts of that type.

Check available funds to pay for postage and purchases

Available funds may come from:

  • A prepaid account (Reserve or USPS Trust)
  • A credit line (Purchase Power)

Depending on your account setup, you may use one or both of these funding sources.

View available credit in a Credit Line

  1. Sign in to Your Account.
  2. If prompted, select Your Account.
  3. Select Credit Lines.
  4. Review the Available Credit amount for each credit line.

View available funds in a Prepaid account

  1. Sign in to Your Account.
  2. If prompted, select Your Account.
  3. Select Prepaid Accounts.
  4. Review the Available Balance amount for each account.

Check balances on your postage meter

You can also view your account balance and available postage directly on your meter. See Checking your account balances and available postage on your meter.
