Custom Presets allow you to quickly select stored postage settings such as class type and special services. The settings you use most often typically get saved as your normal (default) preset; use custom presets for settings that you use less frequently.
Follow these steps to create a custom preset:
Select Class from the Home screen.
Select the class, special services, and other options you wish to include in the custom preset. The following items can be saved in custom presets:
Weighing mode
Class
Special services
Account
Seal mode
Ad
Inscription
Text message
Print position
Date printing options
Press Menu once you select all of your desired options.
Press the Down arrow.
Select Preset Options.
Select Create New Custom Preset.
Lift the cover and use the keyboard to enter a name for your custom preset.
Select Accept.
When the option to review your settings displays:
Select Yes to save the new preset if you do not wish to review your settings. You return to the Home screen.
Select Not Sure, View Settings to review your settings.
Select Exit to exit without saving your preset.
Important
You cannot edit a custom preset. To change a custom preset, you must create a new custom preset with the same name, which replaces the previous custom preset.
You can create multiple custom presets.
To ensure that your preset gets automatically updated when postal rates change, define your preset using a class rather than a fixed amount.
