Setting, changing, or disabling a lock code on the DM100i-DM225
Learn how to set, change, or disable a lock code on the DM100i, DM125, DM200L, and DM225.

The lock code prevents unauthorized access to your mailing system in these two situations:
- When system is in sleep mode
- When the system is in a soft power-down mode, which occurs when you press Lock / Power on the upper right corner of your meter
To set the lock code
- Press Options.
- Press Page Down twice.
- Select Lock Code / Passwords.
- Select Meter Lock Code.
- Enter a new 4-digit lock code at the prompt.
- Select Continue.
- Re-enter the new lock code to confirm.
- Select Continue.
- Press Home to return to the Home screen.
To change the lock code
- Press Options.
- Press Page Down twice.
- Select Lock Code / Passwords.
- Select Meter Lock Code. If there is an existing lock code, the system prompts for the 4 - digit code.
- Select Change Lock Code.
- Enter a new 4-digit lock code at the prompt.
- Select Continue.
- Re-enter the new lock code to confirm.
- Select Continue.
- Press Home to return to the Home screen.
To disable the lock code
- Press Options.
- Press Page Down twice.
- Select Lock Code / Passwords.
- Select Meter Lock Code. If there is an existing lock code, the system prompts for the 4 - digit code.
- Select Disable Lock Code.
- When the message Meter Lock Code Has Been Disabled displays, select Continue.
- Press Home to return to the Home screen.
