Resolve error "E108 Material Inside Folder" on the DF800 and DF900

Learn how to resolve error "E108 Material Inside Folder" on the DF800 and DF900.

Issue

The machine is displaying the error E108 Material Inside Folder and will not run.

Cause

The machine is detecting paper just inside of the machine.

Resolution

  1. Press Clear Deck.
  2. Press Trial Piece to test.
  3. If the issue is not resolved, remove fold plate 1 from the right side of the machine by pulling the blue levers out and lift up on the fold plate.
  4. Check for jams and remove any material or debris.
  5. Reinstall fold plate 1.
  6. Press Trial Piece to test.
  7. If the issue is not resolved, reboot the folder:
    1. Turn the machine on using the switch on the lower left side.
    2. Press Clear Deck.
    3. Press Trial Piece to test.
If the issue is still not resolved, contact client support. Please have your model number ready.
