How to prepare a Tracking Assistant for initialization
Products affected: SendSuite® Tracking, SendSuite® Arrival®
To prepare a Tracking Assistant for initialization:
Models J594, T762, T763 (Windows CE-based devices)
On the Tracking Assistant, tap the crosshair in the center of the screen until it disappears.
Select Windows
Start
icon >
Settings
>
Control Panel
>
Date/time
.
Set the date, time, and time zone to match your computer.
Select
Save
.
Select
OK
.
Select
Display/Backlight
.
Set the timeout setting to 5 minutes.
Select
OK
.
Select
Power
>
Advanced
.
Set the timeout setting to 5 minutes.
Select
OK
.
Select
System
.
Select the
Memory
tab.
Move the slider to the center of the blue gradient scale.
Select
OK
.
Select
X
to return to the desktop screen.
The Tracking Assistant is now ready for initialization.
Models T741, T742, T743, T744, T745, T746 (WinMobile-based devices)
On the Tracking Assistant, tap the crosshair in the center of the screen until it disappears.
Select
Time/Clock
on the desktop screen of the scanner.
Set the date, time, and time zone to match your computer.
Select
OK
or
Yes
to save the settings.
Select the Windows
Start
icon >
Settings
>
System
folder.
Select
Backlight
.
Adjust the timeout to 5 minutes.
Select
OK
.
Scroll down and select
Power
.
At top of the screen select the
Advanced
tab.
Set timeouts to 5 minutes.
Select
OK
.
The Tracking Assistant is now ready for initialization.
