The device freezes on installing Update 3 of 5 on the SendPro C Lite, SendPro C, SendPro +

Issue

The device is not downloading updates and freezes on the message "Installing update 3 of 5"

Cause

Unknown.

Resolution

  1. Unplug the power cable. The screen should turn off after 10 seconds.
  2. Wait 2 minutes.
  3. Plug the power cord directly back into a wall outlet. Check that the wall outlet is working correctly.
  4. Quickly tap and release the power button to turn the device back on.
  5. Once the home screen appears:
    1. Swipe down from the top.
    2. Tap Settings on the toolbar.

    3. Tap Wi-Fi /Wired.
    4. Tap Connect.
    5. Tap the Home icon.
    6. Scroll down and tap Rates and Updates.
