To restart Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC):
- On the computer, select the Windows Start button.
- In the search box, type services.msc.
- Select services.msc.
- In the Services window, right-click on Windows Mobile - based device connectivity and select Restart.
Note: If there are two listings for Windows Mobile - based device connectivity, right-click on the second one.
- A box with the message When Windows Mobile based device connectivity restarts, these other services will also restart. Do you want to restart these services? will appear. Select Yes.
- Select Yes again.
