How to restart Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC)

Learn how to restart Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC).

To restart Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC):
  1. On the computer, select the Windows Start button.
  2. In the search box, type services.msc.
  3. Select services.msc.
  4. In the Services window, right-click on Windows Mobile - based device connectivity and select Restart.
Note: If there are two listings for Windows Mobile - based device connectivity, right-click on the second one.
  1. A box with the message When Windows Mobile based device connectivity restarts, these other services will also restart. Do you want to restart these services? will appear. Select Yes.
  2. Select Yes again.
