❗IMPORTANT: Refunds are issued solely at the discretion of the USPS. Pitney Bowes has no authorization to give refunds for misprinted, damaged, or printed and unused postage.

To request a refund from the USPS, obtain a printed copy of USPS Form 3533 - Application for Refund of Fees, Products and Withdrawal of Customer Accounts from your local Post Office. This form is not available online.
Note: The indicia must be complete, legible, and must be submitted within 60 days from the date shown on the indicia.

- The typical fee is 10% of the face value of the postage if it is $500 or less.
- If the face value of the postage is more than $500, a charge of $50/hour is assessed for the actual time it takes to process the refund, with a minimum charge of $50.
