Voiding a shipping label on the Connect+, SendPro P-Series and SendPro MailCenter
If you are not going to use a FedEx or UPS shipping label that was created, you can void it.
Products affected: Connect+® 500W, Connect+® 1000, Connect+® 2000, Connect+® 3000, SendPro® P1000, SendPro® P1500, SendPro® P2000, SendPro® P3000, SendPro® MailCenter 1000, SendPro® MailCenter 2000, SendPro® MailCenter 3000
If you are not going to use a FedEx or UPS shipping label that was created, you can void it.
Important: This applies to FedEx and UPS only. For USPS labels, you must request a refund.
You can cancel a label immediately after printing it or from the shipping label History screen.
- Voiding means that you are not going to use the label, so you will not be charged for the label cost.
- If you do use the label, even after voiding it, FedEx or UPS will charge you for the label cost.
- The Void button is not available if the label is older than 30 days.
To void the label immediately after printing
- On the Carrier screen the message Label Completed appears. Select Void Label next to the Label Completed message.
- The Void Shipping Label dialog box appears. Read the information and certify that you will not be using the shipping label by selecting the check box.
- Select Yes to void the label.
To void the label from the History screen
- Select History from the Home screen.
- Locate the FedEx or UPS label in the list of shipments or using the search box.
- Select the > arrow in the left of the column list, next to the shipment’s date to reveal the shipment’s details.
- Select Void Label. Read the information and certify that you will not be using the shipping label by selecting the check box provided.
- Select Yes to void the label.
