"Unfortunately the data widget has stopped working" message on Android handheld scanner used with SendSuite Tracking

When attempting to use an Android handheld scanner, the message "Unfortunately the data widget has stopped working" appears.


The scanner needs to be re-paired with SendSuite Tracking.


  1. Re-pair the scanner with SendSuite Tracking. For instructions, see Pairing SendSuite Mobile on an Android Tracking Assistant with SendSuite Tracking.
Permissions Required
Access to SendSuite Tracking Administrator

Test Criteria
After successfully re-pairing the scanner, process a test package and sign for it on the handheld scanner. Sync, then open SendSuite Tracking on the client computer and query the packages processed to verify that it updates.
