"Peripheral Agent is not connected" message when opening SendPro Enterprise apps

Issue

When opening an app that requires a peripheral to be accessed, or attempting to use a peripheral through an app with SendPro Enterprise, the error message "Peripheral Agent is not connected" appears.

Cause

There is an issue accessing HubCapp Peripheral Agent.

Resolution

Solution 1

This error can occur if the software times out but an action has not yet happened on the screen. To avoid this in the future, make sure to log out of SendPro Enterprise when you are finished with it for the day.

Try the following:

  1. Log out of SendPro Enterprise using the Log Out button at the top of the window.
  2. Close your web browser.
  3. Open your web browser.
  4. Navigate to the SendPro Enterprise website and log in.

Solution 2

HubCapp Peripheral Agent is not responding and needs to be restarted.

  1. Log out of SendPro Enterprise using the Log Out button at the top of the window.
  2. Close your web browser.
  3. In the System Tray icons (small icons by the clock), right-click on the HubCapp Peripheral Agent icon and select Exit.

  4. Go to the Windows Start menu and select HubCapp > HubCapp Peripheral Agent. This starts the HubCapp Peripheral Agent program.
  5. Open your web browser.
  6. Navigate to the SendPro Enterprise website and log in.
