Error 019861001B "Tape jam" message on the Connect+ series and SendPro P series

Issue
The meter displays error 0198-61-001B "Tape jam" and does not print tapes.
Cause
The tape jammed.
Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve this error:
- Open the smoke colored cover on the top of your meter.
- Locate the blue lever on the right and pull it toward the left to release the tape.
- While holding the lever to the left, pull the tape out.
- Tear any damaged tape off the roll.
- Reinstall the tape.
- Select Feed forward on the screen.
- If the Feed forward option isn’t on the screen, select Home key at the top of the screen.
- Select Settings.
- Select Hardware.
- Select Tape.
- Select Feed Forward.
- Retry the tape.
