Managing subscription roles using the Locker Management module

You can define different roles for mailroom administrators or locker operators. A role defines the activities you want the user to be able to perform, for example being able to manage locker divisions and locations. You can:

You perform these operation using the Manage Subscription Role screen. To access this screen:

  1. Click on the Settings icon on the menu at the top of the Home screen.

  2. Select the Manage Users option.

  3. The system displays the Manage Users screen.
  4. Click on Roles under Client Setup.

    The system opens the Manage Subscription Role screen.

Add a new subscription role (1)

  1. Click on + Add Subscription Role on the Manage Subscription Role screen to open the Add Subscription Role screen.

    • DISPLAY NAME: Enter a name for a new subscription role. If you are duplicating an existing role, replace the current name with a new one unless you intend to overwrite the existing role.
    • ROLE TEMPLATES FEATURE FILTER: You can select from a series of pre-defined templates. Each template can provide access to different locker locations (Enterprise, Division, Location) and roles.
    • FEATURES: Check off each activity you want a user who is assigned this role to be able to perform. Scroll down to see all features.
  2. Click Save and Close.

Duplicate an existing subscription role (2)

  1. Locate the ROLE NAME on the Manage Subscription Role screen that you want to duplicate and click on the Duplicateppsl-admin-duplicate-iconicon.
  2. The Duplicate Subscription Role screen opens. Enter a new name and select a different ROLE TEMPLATES FEATURE FILTER template (if required) and change any of the FEATURES options.
  3. Click Save and Close.

Edit a subscription role (3)

  1. Locate the ROLE NAME on the Manage Subscription on the Manage Subscription Role screen and click on the Editppsl-admin-pencil-icon_20x19icon.
  2. The Edit Subscription Role screen opens. Enter a new name and select a different ROLE TEMPLATES FEATURE FILTER template (if required) and change any of the FEATURES options.
  3. Click Save and Close.

Delete a subscription role (4)

  1. Locate the ROLE NAME on the Manage Subscription Role screen you want to delete and click on the Delete ppsl-admin-delete-icon icon.
  2. The system prompts you to confirm that you want to delete the role.
  3. Click OK to confirm and delete the role.
