Pairing a J538 or J539 Printer with a Tracking Assistant in PitneyTrack Inbound

You can pair the wireless printer with a Tracking Assistant so that you can print to it from the Tracking Assistant.

The features and options you see may vary depending upon your role and subscription. If you have any questions regarding your permissions, please contact your administrator.

There are two different ways to pair from the PitneyTrack mobile app. If you have any issues with the first method, try the second.

Method 1

  1. Turn the printer on.
  2. Once the Home screen appears, press and hold the Feed button until the Home screen shows a flashing Bluetooth icon. This takes 8-10 seconds.
  3. Release the Feed button.
  4. Turn on and unlock the Tracking Assistant.
  5. Go to Settings.
  6. Tap Bluetooth.
  7. In the list of available devices, tap on the printer.
  8. Follow the prompts to complete the pairing.

Method 2

  1. Turn the printer on.
  2. Once the Home screen appears, press and hold the Feed button until the Home screen shows a flashing Bluetooth icon. This takes 8-10 seconds.
  3. Release the Feed button.
  4. Turn on and unlock the Tracking Assistant.
  5. Launch the PitneyTrack mobile app and sign in.
  6. Tap the Profile icon in the upper right.

  7. Tap Mobile Printers.
  8. In the list of available devices, tap on the printer.
  9. Tap Test Print and follow the prompts to complete the pairing.
