Cleaning the printheads on the SendPro MailCenter 1000, 2000, and 3000

You can clean the printheads at any time to ensure optimal print quality.

1. Select Settings from the Home screen.
2. Select Hardware.
3. Select Printer.
4. Select the Print head tab.
5. Select Clean.... Printhead cleaning takes approximately one minute. A progress bar indicates the cleaning status.
6. Once the cleaning process is complete, you need to print a test pattern. Select Start to print the test pattern on an envelope or press Tape to print a tape.
7. If the solid lines of the test pattern are unbroken, select Image is OK - Done.
   
8. If the test pattern has missing or incomplete lines, select Not OK - Clean print head. Once the cleaning completes, the meter prompts you to print another test pattern. If the pattern still has broken or missing lines, you may need to replace the ink cartridges or printheads.
   
9. Select Home to return to the Home screen.
