Replacing a parcel preset on the DM100i and DM200L

If you have a preset for USPS Retail Ground, First-Class Package, or Parcel Select Ground, you must delete the old present and create a new preset to use the inscription for USPS Ground Advantage.

Delete the old preset

In these steps you'll delete the old inscription first, then delete the preset.

1. Press Custom Presets.
2. Select the old preset.
3. Press Page Down, then Select the Inscription.
4. Select Select an Instript.
5. Select None.
6. Press Custom Presets.
7. Press Page Down, then select Delete Preset.
8. Press the Page Down button to scroll to your old preset.
9. Select Inscription, then select None.
10. Delete the preset.

Create a new preset

1. Place package on weighing platform. The weight of the mail piece will appear on the top-line of the display and valid classes and rates for this weight are displayed.
2. Press CLASS.
3. Select US Domestic.
4. Select Ground Adv.
5. Press Page Down.
6. Select INSC.
7. Select Select an Inscript.
8. Press Page Down, then select GND_ADV.
9. Press Custom Presets.
10. Select Define New Preset.
11. Press Yes/Enter.
12. Enter a name for the Custom Preset. To enter letters, repeatedly press the appropriate number key until the desired character is displayed.
13. Press Yes/Enter.
14. Select Continue.
15. Press Home to return to the Home screen.
