Allowing or requiring users to select sub-accounts in PitneyShip Pro or PitneyShip Enterprise

Administrators can allow or require users to select sub-accounts when assigning cost accounts. When this setting is enabled, users will be able to select sub-accounts and sub-sub-accounts. When this setting is required, users will only be able to select sub-sub-accounts.

Administrators can allow or require users to select sub-accounts when assigning cost accounts. When this setting is enabled, users will be able to select sub-accounts and sub-sub-accounts. When this setting is required, users will only be able to select sub-sub-accounts. When this setting is disabled, users will only be able to select parent accounts.

  1. Select Settings > Cost Accounts.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Show Cost Account Hierarchy.
  4. (PitneyShip Enterprise only) To require users to select the lowest available level of sub sub account (child account) when assigning cost accounts, select Require Cost Account Hierarchy.
  5. Select Update.
