Downloading ERR mail merge files in PitneyShip Enterprise

You can download barcodes, stamps, and coversheets that you can use to do a mail merge of ERRs.

The features and options you see may vary depending upon your role and subscription. If you have any questions regarding your permissions, please contact your administrator.

  1. Import an ERR List.
  2. If any of the records require more information, the missing information will be shown in red. Select the red item or the edit icon to complete the information.

  3. Once all of the required information has been filled in, check the boxes next to the ERRs for which you wish to download the files. To select them all, check the box at the top of the list.
  4. Select Print Coversheet and Stamp.
  5. Select Download Coversheet Image with Postage.

  6. When the file is ready, it will be downloaded. You may be prompted where to save the file, depending upon your web browser settings.

The ZIP file that is downloaded contains the following files. These files will be named as defined in the ERR Mail Merge Options.

  • Excel data file: Contains all of the imported fields along with the names of the ERR barcode image, postage stamp image, and coversheet PDF.
  • ERR Barcode.PNG: Image file of ERR Barcode Tracking ID
  • Postage Stamp GIF: Image of postage stamp
  • Coversheet PDF: PDF of the coversheet
