"Invalid/missing value for Customs.CustomsItems.hSTariffCodeTariff Code." message when shipping internationally in SendPro Enterprise

When processing an international shipment via carrier PB Shipping API - USPS, on print, the following error appears:

"Package 1 has failed validation. Error message from PB Shipping API: 1101313Invalid/missing value for Customs.CustomsItems.hSTariffCodeTariff Code must exist and be 6 characters or longer.


The shipping information is missing a valid code in the Schedule B field.


In the custom's information section of the shipping screen , the Schedule B column needs to have a valid number in the field. Follow the steps below to get this number.

  1. Go to https://uscensus.prod.3ceonline.com/.
  2. Enter in a description of the product being shipped and select Classify.
  3. Select the appropriate Schedule B number in the data provided (6 digit number) and enter it in the Schedule B field of the shipping screen.
  4. Complete the rest of the required shipping information and print the label.
