ShipAccel Release Notes version 1.103.0 (April 30, 2025)
Products affected: ShipAccel
New Features
USPS and DHL Express package drop-off locations
We've added a new feature that lets users choose designated drop-off locations for USPS and DHL Express packages.
Users can filter by ZIP Code and Radius to find the nearest drop-off location. Clicking the Search button will display the results. The ZIP Code field is mandatory; an error message will appear if it is not filled in when the Search button is clicked. The default search radius is set to 5 miles.
Automate weight input
The new feature will automate the process of entering package weight data into the designated weight field. When a package is on the scale, and a user creates a shipping label, the system automatically captures and records the weight from connected digital scales.
Automatic Schedule Export for Single Sign-On (SSO) users
We've added a feature to schedule automatic exports for SSO User Export. Users can view, edit, and delete scheduled exports from the Schedule Automatic Export task scheduler by clicking the Scheduled Exports tab. The status of these exports will be visible on the History screen under the Scheduled Exports tab. Users can set the date and time for exports, add SFTP details for server uploads, and configure email addresses to receive notifications if an automatic export fails.
Enhancements
Stamp roll SL-SPM02 removed for QL-800 printer
Users can no longer use the SL-SPM02 stamp roll with the QL-800 printer. The SL-SPM02 roll was previously used to print IBI-Lite Indicia, but it is now non-compliant with USPS regulations, and users will need to switch to the SL-SPM12 stamp roll. The option to set SL-SPM02 as the default has been removed for those who had previously saved it.
These changes will be reflected in the Stamp Options screen, where an informational message will appear: "To comply with USPS standards, we have updated our stamp format." Additionally, under Shipping and Mailing > Stamp Rolls > Print Options, the option to select the old SL-SPM02 stock for the QL-800 printer has been removed.
Low postage balance alert
We have enhanced the Low USPS Postage Balance alerts. These alerts notify users when their USPS Postage Balance is too low to print the selected shipping labels, allowing them to add the necessary funds and complete the print job without errors.
When a user selects a USPS shipping label for printing, the system calculates the total cost for the orders that can be printed. If the current USPS postage balance is insufficient, a "Low USPS Postage Balance" alert will appear.
This alert displays the message: "Refill your Postage Balance with at least $XX.XX to print the selected shipping labels." By clicking the Add Postage button, users will transition to the Add Postage screen.
Order Grid- Created and Import Date columns
We have updated the Created column to display the date and time an order is placed in the store or marketplace. Additionally, we have introduced a new Import Date column in the Order Grid, which shows the date and time when an order is imported into ShipAccel.
This change addresses the previous issue where orders imported from Ecommerce connectors displayed the import timestamp instead of the actual order creation date in the marketplace.
For file uploads:
- The Import Date column will show the timestamp for when the file was imported.
- The Created column will reflect the import date as the creation date.
Order Grid - Internal Note column
We have introduced a new Internal Note column in the Orders Grid. This column displays summaries of shipping-related notes for each order and is visible by default, allowing users to sort orders easily.
The Internal Note field has a maximum character limit of 500. Notes will be truncated to two lines, with an ellipsis (...) at the end. Users can hover over the ellipsis to view the full text.
Users can edit the Internal Note during order updates by adding, modifying, or removing notes. When manually updating an order's status (such as Fulfilled, On Hold, or Canceled):
- If the Internal Note is empty, any note entered during the status update will be saved as the Internal Note.
- If the Internal Note already contains text, the existing information will be in the Update Status modal, allowing users to overwrite it or add new information.
Order Grid - Order Fulfilled filtering option
We have introduced an advanced filter option for the Order Grid, allowing users to filter orders by the Order Fulfilled date. Users can select Order Fulfilled under the Date Type filtering options.
By default, the system displays orders fulfilled within the last 90 days. Users can filter orders for specific periods, including Today, Last 24 Hours, Last 3 Days, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, and Last 90 Days.
Additionally, users can apply a Custom Date Range filter using a date picker. This filter can be set for a maximum of one year from the current date. Users cannot select future dates, and any dates older than one year will be restricted.
We've also added a Fulfilled Date column to display details about the fulfillment dates when the filter is applied. This column is sortable, and users can customize its display sequence through the column settings to choose whether to show it in the grid.
Order Grid - Adding Orders to a Batch after import
Users who import orders through file upload will notice an Add to Batch menu. By default, this is set to None, indicating no batch association. Users can select from a list of active batches or create a new batch by entering a batch name. Once the orders are uploaded to ShipAccel, they will be automatically assigned to the chosen batch.
Address book import - increased file size capacity
We increased the file size limit for automatic Address Book imports from 10 to 50 MB.
Issues Fixed
