PitneyAnalytics Release Notes version 1.114.0 (October 1, 2025)

PitneyAnalytics Release Notes for version 1.114.0 (October 1, 2025)

Products affected: PitneyAnalytics®

What's New

New Location match feature for Package Reports

A new feature has been added to help identify mismatches between a package’s current location and the recipient’s delivery address.

A new column called Location Match is now available in the Package Detail and Package History reports. It shows Yes if the locations match and No if they don’t. If no recipient location is available, the field will be blank. In the Package History report, the value reflects the latest status only.

This column appears at the end of the standard list, before custom fields, and is deselected by default. It works with global and calendar filters, and the correct values will be included in scheduled, favorite, and exported reports (CSV/XLS).

New Delivery exception insights

PitneyAnalytics now includes a visual dashboard to track delivery exceptions more clearly. A new pie chart shows each carrier’s share of exceptions by percentage (default) or volume, with a toggle to switch views. A bar chart provides a carrier-by-carrier breakdown, and a summary displays total exceptions, percentage of affected shipments, and the number of carriers involved.

Clicking View Data expands the chart into a table with export options (Excel, CSV, PDF). A View Full Report link opens the Shipment Detail Report filtered by exceptions.

Exception reasons are now standardized with clear labels like Return InitiatedUnable to Deliver, and Weather Exception. In the Shipment Detail Report, the Exception Reason column is renamed to Delivery Exception Reason and only shows data for exception statuses. A new column, Delivery Status Description, displays the raw carrier status for all shipments. Both columns are included in exports and scheduled reports.

Improved Calendar filters for Receiving Reports

We’ve added new calendar filter options to the Receiving Report, giving users more control and accuracy when viewing package data. You can now filter by status types, such as Received On, Delivered, Attempted On, Refused On, Returned to Mailroom, and Requires Research. These filters are available in both the Package Detail and Package History reports.

By default, scheduled and favorite reports will now use the Received On filter. Existing users with scheduled reports will receive an email about this change, allowing them to update their settings before October 1.

Latest Updates

Improved decimal precision in Reports

PitneyAnalytics now offers better control over decimal place settings in favorite and scheduled reports. When users select a precision level (e.g., 2 or 3 decimal places), that preference is saved and remembered across sessions.

For Favorite and Scheduled Reports, the selected decimal precision is stored with the report and used consistently when the report is viewed or exported. A new menu in the Favorite Reports allows users to adjust decimal precision before running a report.

Existing reports remain unchanged and will continue to display data using their original settings.

New quick select date range filter

A new Last 45 Days date filter has been added to make it easier for users to view recent records. This filter automatically calculates the date range as today minus 45 days, and adjusts based on each user's fiscal calendar settings.

When selected, a tooltip shows the exact date range for clarity. Filtered records can be exported in Excel, CSV, and PDF formats, and are fully supported in scheduled reports, including SFTP and email delivery.

Zone Analytics now available for SendPro Enterprise users

SendPro Enterprise users can now access zone-based shipping data across key reports and dashboards in PitneyAnalytics. Zones are calculated using origin and destination postal codes for USPS, FedEx, and UPS. For other carriers, USPS zones are used as an estimate. The Spend Summary and Shipment Detail reports now include zone fields, and the Carrier & Services Dashboard supports zone-based charts and filters. All updates are reflected in scheduled reports, favorites, and CSV/XLS exports, with filters continuing to work as expected

Expanded Dashboard support for Carrier Surcharges and Extra Services for SendPro Enterprise users

The Carrier & Services Dashboard now includes detailed visualizations for Carrier Surcharges and Extra Services (formerly called Special Services) for SendPro Enterprise clients. Updated pie charts and analytics are available, along with enhanced charts for activity, spend, delivery performance, shipment status, and service comparisons. Filters for spend, percentage, and carrier work as expected, and the View Data option shows accurate results. All global and calendar filters continue to function normally.

Shipment Detail Report enhancements for Multi-Piece labels

A new update enhances the Shipment Detail Report by introducing support for multi-piece labels (excluding multi-stamp shipments). Two new fields have been introduced: Parent Tracking #, which shows the shared tracking number for all parcels in a multi-piece shipment, and Is Multi Piece Parcel, which indicates whether a parcel is part of such a shipment with a simple Yes or No.

Parcels are now grouped by Parent Tracking #, while still maintaining the default sort by shipment creation date. For child parcels, all cost-related fields will show zero to avoid confusion caused by inconsistent carrier data. However, all other fields, including tracking numbers, will be correctly populated.

These changes are reflected in CSV and XLS exports, scheduled reports, and favorites. The new column is turned off by default in the report interface but can be enabled as needed.
