January 21, 2024 – New U.S. Postal Service prices take effect for USPS Market Dominant (Mailing Services) and Competitive (Shipping Services).

Pricing will also increase for Special Services products including Certified Mail, Post Office Box rentals, money orders, and insurance when mailing an item.
Competitive Change Highlights:
Price Changes for:
- Priority Mail Express
- Priority Mail
- Parcel Select
- USPS Ground Advantage
- Most International Products
- Certain Nonstandard Fees (NSFs) applicable to competitive products will see a 20 percent increase in 2024.
Domestic Extra Services which include:
- Premium Forwarding Service
- Competitive Post Office Boxes
- Adult Signature Service
Post Office Box prices will remain within existing ranges.
Classification Changes
- Renaming eVS Unmanifested Fee to Unmanifested Fee
- Elimination of Parcel Select LightWeight Price Category from the Parcel Select product.
o In its place, ounce-based prices will be added under the destination-entered categories at 4-, 8-, and 12-ounce increments.
o 15.999 ounce rate increment would be eliminated in published rates (remains for NSAs).
o Former PSLW items inherit Parcel Select product characteristics.
o At this point BPRS (Bulk Parcel Return Service) would not be available for Parcel Select.
