Postage Balance displays "reading" on the Envelope Printing app on the SendPro C, SendPro+, SendPro C Auto

Reboot the device if the postage balance shows "reading."
Products affected: SendPro® C, SendPro®+, SendPro® C Auto (2H20, R2H20, R2H20M, R1H20C, 1H20C, R1H20CM, 7H20C, R7H20C, R7H20CM, 7H20A, R7H20A, R7H20AM)


When running mail, the word "Reading" appears where the postage amount should be. The message "Not Ready to Print" also appears. You are unable to print postage.


This can occur if your device is connected to your network using a wired connection. High network traffic may cause your meter to time-out when you are trying to print postage.


You may be able to clear the error by restarting the device.
  1. Unplug the power cord. The screen turns off after 10 seconds.
  2. Wait 30 seconds.
  3. Plug the power cord back in, ensuring that it is plugged directly into a wall outlet.
  4. Quickly tap and release the power button to turn the device back on.
