Installing the Brother QL-800 printer for PitneyShip Pro

Downloading the printer driver

1. Sign into PitneyShip Pro.
2. Click the Support & Cases and select Brother Stamp Printer Driver QL-800.
3. Select Downloads.
4. Enter the model number of the printer, QL-800, and select Search.
5. Choose your operating system, then select OK.
6. The printer driver should be listed in the drivers section. Click the Printer Driver link to download the printer driver.
7. Select Agree to the EULA and Download. The file will be downloaded to your computer's Downloads folder.

Installing the printer driver for Windows

1. Go to your computer's Downloads folder and double-click on the downloaded file.
2. Choose QL-800 in the Driver Setup window.
   
3. Click OK.
4. The next prompt welcomes you to the Brother Printer Driver Installer. Select Next.
   
5. You will then be prompted to connect the USB cable between the Brother printer and the computer. Connect the USB cable.
   
6. Connect the power cable.
7. Turn the printer on and wait a few seconds. The printer driver installation wizard displays the next step. Click OK.

8. Press and hold the Editor Lite button on the printer until the green light above the Editor Lite button turns off.
9. Click Next.
10. Click Finish.

If you have a scale that you have not yet installed, you must install it now before proceeding with installing Device Hub.

You must now install Device hub, follow the steps below.

Installing the printer driver for Mac

1. Go to your computer's Downloads folder and double-click on the downloaded file.
2. Open BrotherDrivers.pkg.
3. The next prompt welcomes you to the Brother Printer Driver Installer. Select Continue.
4. Select Continue to agree to Brother's Software License Agreement then select Agree.
5. Select Install.
6. The installer may ask for your Mac system login and password.
7. When the installation is complete, select Close.
8. Connect the USB cable.
9. Connect the power cable.
10. Turn the printer on and wait a few seconds.
11. If the green light is on above the Editor Lite button on the printer, press and hold the Editor Lite button on the printer until the green light turns off.

If you have a scale that you have not yet installed, you must install it now before proceeding with installing Device Hub.

You must now install Device hub, follow the steps below.

Installing Device Hub

1. Sign into PitneyShip Pro .
2. Follow the instructions in Installing DeviceHub .

Loading the label roll

1. Turn the label printer off.
2. Hold the label printer by the front and firmly lift the roll compartment cover to open it.
3. Remove the protective sheet from the label output slot.
4. Place the roll into the roll spool guides (1).
5. Thread the roll through the label printer (2).

6. Push the labels through the label output slot until at least one inch of the label is visible.
7. Close the roll compartment cover.
8. Press the power button to turn the label printer on. The end of the roll aligns automatically.
