Troubleshoot creating a Your Account profile

Troubleshooting steps to resolve issues that may arise when registering for a Your Account profile.

Email is Already Registered 

The email address that is being entered to create the new profile has already been set up for online access.
 
Resolution:
  1. Go to the sign in page.
  2. Select Forgot your password
  3. Enter your email address.
  4. Select Email me to reset my Password and click Continue
  5. A link to reset your password will be sent to your email address, after you have changed your password you can sign in to Your Account. 

The System is Not Accepting the Account Number

The system has not recognized the account number that has been entered. 
 
Resolution:
  1. Confirm the country flag in the top right corner reflects the same country as the account address.
  2. Verify the account number was entered correctly.
  3. If the account is still not recognized select the chat icon in the bottom right to connect with a representative.
 

The System is not Accepting the Meter Number.

The serial/meter number used for validation has not been recognized.
 
Resolution:
  1. Verify the 7 digit serial/meter number was entered correctly. 
  2. Confirm the country flag in the top right corner reflects the same country as the account address. 
  3. If you are still not able to complete registration, select the chat bubble in the bottom right to connect with a representative.
 

The authentication email was not received 

The Your Account profile has been created, but the email to verify your profile was not received.
 
Resolution:
  1. Check your email junk or spam folder and perform a search for the email address transactional@emails.pitneybowes.com.
    • This email can take up to 30mins to be received.
  2.  Have the email address transactional@emails.pitneybowes.com added to your address book and retrigger the Authorization email.
    • Companies with high network security may need to have this email added to their approved recipient list.
  3. Use the chat icon at the bottom right to Live Chat with a representative, if the email is still not received.
