Cleaning the printer nozzles on the DM60

If you receive a poor quality test pattern, clean your print nozzles to try and correct the problem.

1. Press Menu/Options.
2. Press Review (down) until Use ink functions? appears.
3. Press Enter/Yes.
4. Press Review (down) until Clean Printer Nozzles? appears.
5. Press Enter/Yes. The message Preparing ink please wait... appears while your franking machine performs the cleaning.
6. When prompted, insert an envelope or tape sheet into the franking machine.
7. When prompted, remove the envelope.
8. At the prompt Is test pattern OK? select the appropriate option:
   • If the test pattern is good quality, without broken lines or smeared ink, press Enter/Yes. Your franking machine returns to the Home screen.
     
   • If the test pattern is poor quality, press No to run the Clean Printer Nozzles? function again. You can repeat the purge process up to two more times.
