Sending post using a Surcharge Payment on the DM60

A Surcharge Payment allows you to print a custom postage amount on your franking machine. You can enter any value from £0.00 up to £999.99.

1. Press Class.
2. Select Carrier 1.Royal Mail appears.
3. Press Review (Down) until Surch Pymt appears.
4. Press Enter/yes twice.
5. Key in the desired amount of postage in pounds and pence.
6. Press Enter/yes twice. You return to the Home screen.

To exit Surcharge Payment, simply select a Class and mail type:

1. Press Class.
2. Select Carrier 1.Royal Mail appears.
3. Press Review (up) or Review (down) to scroll through the list of carriers. Press Enter/yes to select a carrier, for example Royal Mail.
4. Select Class appears. Press Review (up) or Review (down) to scroll through the list of classes.
5. Press Enter/yes to confirm the class.
6. Depending on the class, a list of sizes may appear. For example, Letter, Large Letter, etc.
7. Press Review (up) or Review (down) to scroll through the list of sizes.
8. Press Enter/yes to confirm the size. You return to the Home screen.
