Adding a standard account on the DM300M-DM475

If you use the departmental accounting feature to track postage you must add at least one account to use accounting.
Products affected: DM300M™, DM400M™, DM475™ (G922, RG9224M)

If you use the departmental accounting feature to track postage you must add at least one account to use accounting.

  1. Press Options.
  2. Select Accounts. If you use the supervisor password, enter it to gain access to all of the accounting functions.
  3. Select Create New Account.
  4. Lift the keyboard cover and type in a name for the account. It can be up to 15 alphanumeric characters long.
  5. Select Accept. New Account Created appears.
  6. Select Name to edit the account name.
  7. Select Accept to return to the New Account Created screen.
  8. If you use the supervisor and account passwords, an option for adding an account password is present. Select Add Acct Password and enter the 4-digit password.
  9. Select Accept to return to the New Account Created screen
  10. Select Number if you would like to change the number assigned to the account. Select a number from the list.
  11. Select Done to return to the Accounts screen.
  12. Press Home to return to the Home screen.
