Turning on standard accounting on the DM300M-DM475
You can use the accounting feature to track the postage that departments or individuals within your organisation use.
The accounting feature helps you to understand how your business spends its postage and identify cost-saving opportunities. You can charge postage back to departments or clients and report on postage expenditures.
- Press Options.
- Select Accounts.
- Select Acct Type.
- Select Standard.
- If there are no accounts present, the franking machine prompts you to create an account. Select Create New Account.
- Enter the account name using the keypad.
- Select Accept.
- Select Done.
- Press Home to return to the Home screen.
