Add Low Balance Alerts

Learn how to set notification emails when a postage account balance or franking machine balance goes below a chosen threshold. Setting low balance alerts can help reduce disruptions in service.

Add Low Balance Alerts for a Postage Account

  1. Sign in to the Pitney Bowes Your Account online portal. 
  2. Expand the Your Account dropdown from the top navigation bar and select Email Notifications.
  3. Select Low Credit Alerts for the required account type i.e Purchase Power or Prepay. 
  4. Under the Email Setting section use the ON / OFF toggle to turn low balance alerts on.
  5. Enter the amount for when the alert will trigger and select Turn on Email Alerts
An email will be sent to the designated user each time the postage account balance goes below the chosen amount.



Add low Balance Alerts for a Postage Meter

Note: Low balance alerts can only be turned on for SmartLink enabled devices. This feature is not available for SendPro P devices. 
  1. Sign in  to the Pitney Bowes Your Account online portal. 
  2. Expand the Your Products dropdown from the top navigation bar and select Postage Meters.
  3. Select the required meter. 
  4. Select Set Up Low Postage Email Alerts
  5. Enter the amount for when the alert will trigger and select Turn on Email Alerts
An email will be sent to the designated user each time the postage account balance goes below the chosen amount.
