The serial number on the Royal Mail licence does not match the serial number on the franking machine

Create a case in Your Account if the serial number on the franking machine and licence do not match.
Products affected: DM60™ (K722), DM110i™, DM160i™, DM220i™ (PR20), DM300M™ (G922, RG9224M, SG922, RG9224)

Issue

You are trying to install your franking machine but the serial number on your Royal Mail licence does not match your franking machine serial number.

Resolution

You will need sign in to Your Account and create a case to resolve this issue.

  1. Go to the signin page.
  2. Select Technical Support.
  3. Select your equipment.
  4. Select Installation of Equipment.
  5. Select the I need assistance with the installation of the equipment radio button.
  6. In the Please provide any details you might have text box enter the following information:
    • An explanation advising the serial numbers do not match
    • Confirmation if the machine is installed or not
    • The serial number quoted on the licence
    • The serial number quoted on your franking machine
  7. Enter your contact details.
  8. Select Submit.

A confirmation window appears with your case number. This information is also sent by email. Your case will be assigned to a Pitney Bowes representative who will assist in completing your request.
