Partial Print on the PB-SP100 (1E47, 1E48, 1E51, or 1E53) label printer

Only part of the label prints or the print is cut off when printing labels on the PB-SP100 printer.

Products affected: PB-SP100

If only part of the label prints or the print is cutting off when trying to print labels on the PB-SP100 printer the printer's cover is not closed or the printer needs to be calibrated.

Solution 1: Close the cover

Ensure that the cover is closed tight by firmly pressing down on each corner of the cover. A click should be heard.

If the issue is not resolved, try solution 2.

Solution 2: Calibrate the printer

Note: These instructions apply to Windows desktop users only. If the printer is being used with a postage meter, it needs to be installed on a computer to attempt the fix below.

  1. Select the Windows Start button, and then Settings.
  2. Select Devices and then Printers and Scanners.
  3. Select the printer, Pitney Bowes PB-SP100 and Manage.
  4. Select Printer Properties.
  5. Select the Tools tab.
  6. Under Printer, select Action, and select Run Calibration. The printer will feed out some labels as it calibrates the label roll. Once this is complete, try printing your label again.
