Latest Updates
New Two-Step process for adding notifications
We've introduced a new two-step process for creating notifications to ensure that all required information is entered before proceeding.
The first step requires users to fill in key details such as Notification Name, Status (Active/Inactive), Send Via (e.g., Email), Notification Type, Visibility settings, and the triggering Status. Only after completing these fields can users proceed to the next step.
The second step allows users to customize the notification's schedule and content. This includes selecting the default language (English), editing the email subject and message body, and using templates to simplify message creation, just like before.
This update also lays the groundwork for supporting multiple templates under the same condition in future releases.
Improved Address Book usability
We've updated the Address Book interface to make it more intuitive and user-friendly.
Key updates include:
- Custom fields now appear above address details, showing only the field name without the Custom Fields label, making them clearer and more relevant.
- The label Accessibility accommodations has been updated to Needs Accessibility Accommodations for Locker Use for better clarity.
- All instances of Private have been changed to Mark as private to indicate that users can choose to make a contact private.
- The phrase Notify all internal deliveries has been replaced with Send email notifications to describe the action triggered by the checkbox more accurately.
These enhancements make the Address Book easier to navigate and more aligned with user expectations.
Web browser: Updated Info messages for search
We've updated the info messages for the Begins with and Contains search options to make them clearer and more helpful for users.
For Begins with, the message now reads "Search results will use 'begins with’ logic. Type 'son' to find Sonny, not Johnson.”
For Contains, the message now reads “Search results will use ‘contains’ logic. Type ‘son’ to find Sonny and Johnson.”
These updated messages appear when clicking the info icon next to the search box and are now available on the following pages:
- Dashboard / Landing Page
- Package Activity
