PitneyTrack Enterprise Release Notes version 1.130.0 (August 27, 2026)
Products affected: PitneyTrack® Enterprise
What's New
Web Browser: New Purchase Orders tab for expected packages
This enhancement introduces a new Purchase Orders tab within Expected Packages, providing users with a centralized location to view, manage, and monitor imported Purchase Order data.
To improve navigation and clarity, the existing Manifest/Expected Packages tab has been renamed to Manifests from Carriers, clearly separating carrier manifest information from imported Purchase Orders. Users can filter Purchase Order records by site, view records from all imported files or a specific import file, and easily switch between imported datasets. The tab also includes direct access to Automatic Import and Manual Import options.
The Purchase Orders grid displays key details such as Import Date, Purchase Order Number, Tracking Number, Recipient, Sender, Carrier, and Site. A new search feature allows users to quickly find Purchase Orders by entering three or more characters of a Purchase Order Number, including partial matches, making it easier to locate specific records.
Web browser: Manual Purchase Order import
This enhancement allows users to manually import Purchase Order (PO) data directly into PitneyTrack from the Purchase Orders tab, reducing manual data entry and simplifying the process of adding Purchase Order records.
A new guided import workflow enables users to upload a CSV file, map CSV columns to PitneyTrack fields, and import Purchase Order data through an easy-to-follow process. Before importing, users can select the destination site, download a sample CSV file, upload or replace files, and map data fields using a dedicated field-mapping screen. Matching column names are automatically mapped, while unmapped fields can be assigned manually and adjusted before import.
Users can also choose to replace existing Purchase Order records during the import process. When this option is selected, a warning message is displayed before the replacement is completed, helping prevent unintended changes to existing data.
Web browser: Automated Purchase Order Imports via SFTP
This enhancement allows users to automate Purchase Order (PO) imports by configuring a secure SFTP connection directly from the Purchase Orders tab. The new guided setup wizard simplifies the process by enabling users to configure an import source, map file fields, schedule recurring imports, and set up failure notifications, eliminating the need for ongoing manual uploads.
The setup process includes selecting a destination site, configuring SFTP connection details, mapping import fields, and scheduling imports to run daily, on weekdays, or on weekends. Users can test and validate the SFTP connection before completing setup, review and adjust field mappings, and specify email recipients to receive notifications if import failures occur.
To improve usability, the wizard allows users to move between setup steps without losing previously entered information. Once configured, scheduled imports can be viewed and managed from the new Import Schedule tab.
Web browser: Purchase Order Import History Tracking
This enhancement allows users to monitor both manual and automated Purchase Order (PO) imports directly from the existing Import History tab, providing a centralized view of Purchase Order import activity alongside Expected Package imports.
The Import History tab now includes records for Purchase Order imports generated through both manual imports and automated imports. Access to import history is based on user permissions, ensuring users only see information relevant to the features they can access.
Each successful Purchase Order import automatically creates an entry in Import History, allowing users to confirm import completion, review historical import activity, and track import processing from a single location.
Web browser and mobile app: Purchase Order lookup in Receiving workflows
This enhancement adds Purchase Order (PO) lookup and selection, helping users reduce manual data entry and improve data accuracy during package receiving.
A new Purchase Order Number field is now available, allowing users to search for Purchase Orders by PO Number or Recipient Name and select matching records from imported Purchase Order data. When a Purchase Order is selected, the system automatically populates available package information, such as Recipient, Sender, Carrier, and other mapped fields, streamlining the receiving process and improving consistency.
Users can also manually enter a Purchase Order Number when no matching record is found. In these cases, the PO Number is saved with the package, but package details are not automatically populated.
Mobile app: Enhanced Delivery via Manifest Experience
This enhancement improves the Delivery via Manifest workflow in the mobile app by supporting administrator-configured field settings, required field validation, field value retention, and custom field ordering. These updates help ensure a more consistent and efficient delivery experience that aligns with organizational requirements.
The Deliver To screen now follows the settings configured in Input Field Options > Delivery via Manifest, displaying only the fields enabled by administrators and enforcing required fields where applicable. Core fields such as Given To, Status, and Location remain fixed and always visible, while additional fields, including Recipient/Department, Sender, Carrier, Carrier Service, Comment, PO Number, Cost Account, and Custom Fields, are displayed based on administrator preferences.
The Mobile App also honors administrator-defined field ordering. Visible fields are displayed in the configured sequence, hidden fields are excluded, and previously entered values are retained for supported fields, helping streamline package delivery workflows and reduce repetitive data entry.
Latest Updates
Web browser: Recent selections for Faster Data entry
This enhancement improves the web browser application by introducing Recent selections for Departments, Recipients, and Senders, making frequently used selections quicker and easier to access.
Each dropdown now displays a Recent section containing the last three items selected for that field, while all other available options continue to appear below. Recent selections are stored at the user level and persist across sessions, allowing users to access them even after signing out and back in. When a new item is selected, the list is automatically updated to retain only the three most recent selections. If an item already exists in the list, it is moved to the top rather than duplicated.
This enhancement also adds the Recent Selections icon to previously retained Carrier selections and extends recent selection functionality to the Assigned To field on the PitneyTrack Asset Management Add and Manage Asset pages. Recent values are also available when viewing previously saved transactions, helping streamline data entry and improve user productivity.
Web browser: Package Count added to Exported PDF reports
This enhancement improves exported PDF reports by displaying the total number of unique packages included in the report. The package count now appears in the report header under the Total Packages heading, giving users immediate visibility into the report contents.
By providing the package count directly in the report, users can quickly confirm the scope of the export without having to manually review and count individual report entries.
Web browser: Delivery via Manifest Field Configuration for Mobile App
This enhancement adds a new Delivery via Manifest page to the Mobile App Input Field Options, giving administrators greater control over field visibility, behavior, and layout for package deliveries completed through the Manifest workflow.
The new page allows administrators to configure and reorder fields such as Recipient/Department, Sender, Carrier, Carrier Service, Comment, PO Number, Cost Account, and Custom Fields. For PitneyTrack Enterprise (PTE) clients using the Admin Console, the Given To, Status, and Location fields remain fixed at the top of the page, while all other supported fields can be rearranged.
The enhancement also supports multi-site configuration, allowing administrators to apply Delivery via Manifest field settings, including field visibility and field order, across multiple sites for a consistent user experience.
